State-owned companies will continue to play a critical role in the functioning of South Africa’s economy. Turnaround strategist Kaizer Nyatsumba argues that there were far more factors which impacted negatively on SAA’s implementation of its Long-Term Turnaround Strategy. These factors were somewhat different when it came to Kenya Airways.
